How RevRent processes personal information when you use our website and business application.

This policy covers the RevRent public website, Business Application, Super Admin operations interface (where applicable), and related support or billing communications.

Customer information that your business enters about its own customers is processed on your behalf as part of the service. You are responsible for providing appropriate notices and obtaining required permissions from your customers.

2. Information we process

Account and business information

  • Name, email address, phone number, and password or authentication credentials.
  • Business name, owner name, business category, branch details, and account settings.
  • User role (for example, administrator or staff) and business association.

Operational data you enter

  • Customer contact and booking details.
  • Catalogue, inventory, orders/bookings, payments, invoices, expenses, and finance records.
  • Staff user records you create for your business.
  • Documents, images, or files you upload where the product supports uploads.

Subscription and billing information

  • Selected plan, billing cycle, subscription status, payment history, and invoice references stored in RevRent.
  • Payment card, bank, or mandate details are collected and processed by Razorpay (or another designated payment provider), not stored directly by RevRent in full payment instrument form.

Security and technical information

  • Authentication tokens stored in browser cookies or local storage to keep you signed in.
  • Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) configuration when enabled.
  • Theme or UI preferences stored locally in your browser.
  • Server logs, IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, and diagnostic information generated when you use the service.

Communications

  • Messages you send through our contact form or support channels.
  • Transactional emails such as password reset or account-related notices when email delivery is configured.

3. Why we process information

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve RevRent.
  • Authenticate users and enforce role-based access within a business account.
  • Process subscriptions, renewals, payment status, and billing support.
  • Send service-related communications and respond to support requests.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Service providers and third parties

We use infrastructure, hosting, database, email, maps, analytics, and payment providers to operate RevRent. These providers process information only as needed to perform services for us and are subject to contractual or legal safeguards appropriate to their role.

Examples of categories of providers include cloud hosting, payment processing (Razorpay), email delivery (SMTP or similar), and map/location services when address features are used.

5. Cookies and local storage

RevRent uses browser cookies and local storage for authentication, session continuity, theme preference, and limited client-side state such as onboarding drafts or dismissed alerts.

We do not describe RevRent as using third-party advertising cookies based on the current application implementation.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

You can update some account and business profile information inside the Business Application. For other requests, contact us using the details in Section 11.

RevRent is a business software service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
